• Classes: Knowledge is a powerful tool, and we want to equip you with the information and skills you need to thrive. Our classes cover a wide range of topics related to Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), from self-advocacy to independent living. We believe that education empowers individuals, and we're committed to providing you with the tools to succeed.

• Support Services: At Golden Heart Advocacy, we provide direct support to improve the quality of your life. Whether it's connecting you with essential resources, helping you access Medicaid benefits, or providing emotional support, our dedicated team is here to assist you every step of the way. 

• Direct Support Services- NJ DDD Approved Provider- We also offer direct support services of Community Based Supports, Individual Supports and Community Inclusion. We partner with other vendors to create a 24/7 program/ schedule for you connecting you with communities, group social activities based at our partner site and in the community, classes, and volunteer opportunities. We are dedicated and truly treat people as individuals creating an individualized schedule for you, even as a hired family member. We are an approved DDD provider who takes pride in our person-centered programming. We want everyone we serve to be treated with respect and our staff to be motivated and passionate.

• We match DSPS and Individuals using an interest survey for both employees and individuals we serve

• We provide a comprehensive intake that actually creates an individualized wrap around community and home- based schedule 24/7 program and empowers individuals to make supported decisions!

• Let's Face it- Traditional 9-3 day programs and group homes are not for everyone. Let us help you create a self-directed, individualized program!

Educating Businesses about Disability Advocacy:

But our mission doesn't stop with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). We believe in creating a more inclusive society for everyone. That's why we also work tirelessly to educate businesses about disability advocacy, with a particular emphasis on intersectionality, including the Spanish, LGBTQ+, Black, and disabled communities.
